The year 1962 was arguably one of the most memorable in American history. From John Glenn’s trip around the earth in his Mercury spacecraft he called Friendship 7 to JFK’s stand against communism during the Cuban missile crisis, 1962 changed the world.

But to us, it was the birth of the California surfing sound by The Beach Boys and the release of The Beatles’ first single “Love Me Do” – starting the British invasion – that really rocked the world. And then there was this teenager from Akron, Ohio by the name of Rick Case who, in his own right, changed the way Americans kept on rollin’.
